JAMES FRANKLIN LAWRENCE 3, (JAMES O. 2, JOHN 1), was born March 3, 1834 in Chattooga County, Georgia and died December 28, 1912 in Los Angeles County, California. He married EMILY JANE KITCHENS, the daughter of GEORGE KITCHENS and ANNA JOHNSON. She was born August 30, 1840 in Franklin County, Georgia and died November 3, 1905 in Orange County, California.

NANCY ELIZABETH LAWRENCE 3, (JAMES O. 2, JOHN 1), was born November 23, 1839 in Chattooga County, Georgia and died May 30, 1909 in Carroll County, Arkansas. She married ALFRED MACK BRADLEY, the son of JESSIE E. BRADLEY and SUSAN COFFMAN. He was born May 17, 1834 in Jefferson County, Tennessee and died September 13, 1932 in Carroll County, Arkansas.

Early Life: As a young man he drove a team of oxen from Georgia to Searcy County, Arkansas and then into Northwest Arkansas. It was JAMES O. LAWRENCE who had originally hired him to drive the team. Two years after arriving in Arkansas, he married one of the daughters of JAMES O. LAWRENCE; NANCY.

Military: First Lieutenant, Company E, 45th Arkansas Militia (commanded by CAPTAIN JOHN RICHARDSON REDWINE, his brother–in–law) November 22, 1861 — December 20, 1861. He re-enlisted with Company F, Arkansas Regulars, Arkansas Infantry and the 14th Missouri Cavalry, CSA, with another brother–in–law, GEORGE MELTON LAWRENCE.

Post War: During Reconstruction, Alfred moved his family to Monett, Missouri after his life was threatened in Searcy County, Arkansas. In 1867, the family moved to Carroll County, Arkansas where many members of the Lawrence family resided.

Career and Accomplishments: Carroll County Treasurer, 1872 – 1874; Carroll County Justice of the Peace, 1886; Farmer and Produce Salesman. He was recorded as the oldest living man in Carroll County, Arkansas.

SARAH JANE LAWRENCE 3, (JAMES O. 2, JOHN 1), was born September 20, 1842 in Chattooga County, Georgia and died February 18, 1880 in Stone County, Arkansas. She married (1) PINKNEY MORRIS, the son of JAMES G. MORRIS and SUSAN ANNE SUGGS. He was born September 1, 1844 in Georgia and died September 4, 1869 in Stone County, Arkansas. She married (2) WILLIAM MARION DIFFEY, the son of JAMES WILLIAM DIFFEY and ELIZABETH ALDRAD on July 23, 1873 in Stone County, Arkansas. He was born About 1841 in Calhoun County, Alabama and died About 1914 in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma.
